Inside Fixora

About Fixora

Why Fixora exists and how its private, focused browser tools are built.

Tools for everyday digital work

Fixora provides free browser tools for preparing images and PDFs, cleaning text, checking CSV and JSON, creating static QR codes, and comparing meeting times. No account or subscription is required. Selecting a file lets the tool read it on your device; it does not upload that file to Fixora.

Local processing with clear limits

Tool inputs, filenames and results stay in your browser. The site publishes format and size limits, explains transformations that can change your data, and asks you to review output before relying on it. Contact messages are a separate service: details you choose to submit are stored privately for owner review, as described in the privacy notice.

Service and operator

The service is published and maintained under the Fixora name by its site owner. Its operating jurisdiction is Ontario, Canada. The owner receives support, privacy, accessibility and legal inquiries through /contact/.

Testing and maintenance

Fixora’s code includes automated checks for processors, output files and site behavior, alongside browser checks of tool workflows and layouts. These checks help catch problems but cannot cover every file or device. Experimental helpers cover focused tasks with specific format and output limits; read those limits and check the result. The site owner maintains the tools and can review reported problems.

Report a problem

Use /contact/ to ask a question, suggest an improvement, or report a bug. Include the tool name, browser, what you expected and what happened. A small nonsensitive example helps reproduce a problem. An email address is optional and allows possible follow-up; a reply is not guaranteed.

Library and font attributions: Third-party notices and licenses.

Keep your source files private.

If you report a problem, share the tool name and a nonsensitive example, not confidential files or secrets.
