Inside Fixora

Privacy

How Fixora protects file and text privacy with local browser processing.

The short version

Files selected for tools, their filenames, content entered into tool forms, extracted data, and results are processed in your browser. Fixora does not send that tool content to a server, analytics provider, or advertising network.

Data stored on your device

Fixora stores your theme preference and, when available, your advertising choice in local storage. The advertising choice expires after 90 days. Tool input and files are not intentionally persisted. Downloads are saved when you choose Download.

Search URLs and browser history

Submitted search terms appear in the URL so searches can be refreshed, shared, and revisited with Back and Forward. Opening or refreshing that URL sends the terms to the hosting provider as part of the request; browser history and shared links may retain them. Search for task or tool names, not confidential source content.

Network requests

Tool processing remains local. Cloudflare delivers the site and may process access logs. Adsterra advertising is available internationally. Banners load automatically where the configured regional policy permits, with a saved opt-in for the EEA, UK, Switzerland and unknown locations. Opting out or sending Global Privacy Control keeps ads off. Advertising stays in isolated frames separate from tool inputs, results and contact fields. Lower placements load as you approach them.

Contact and changes

Use /contact/ for privacy questions and deletion requests. Effective date: 2026-10-13. This notice will be reviewed when hosting or data practices change.

Contact correspondence

Submitting the contact form sends the details you choose to provide - request type, optional name and email, tool identifier, subject, message, and optional bug details - to Fixora. Accepted messages are stored privately in Cloudflare D1 for owner review. An email enables possible follow-up but does not guarantee a reply. Contact values and references are not added to analytics or URLs. Unsent text stays in page memory and is not saved in local storage.

Verification and hosting

Cloudflare Turnstile processes verification and device/network signals to prevent spam. Cloudflare Pages handles the submission request. Short-lived keyed abuse identifiers are derived from the connection IP; raw IP addresses are not stored in the contact database or application logs. Abuse records expire within 20 minutes and are removed on subsequent submissions or during owner cleanup. Cloudflare may separately process hosting and security logs under its privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Correspondence retention

The owner reviews and deletes correspondence manually each month. The retention target is 90 days after submission, including resolved requests; deletion is checked during the monthly review. Do not submit secrets or confidential files. You can request earlier deletion through /contact/. Deletion is an owner responsibility, not an automatic scheduled service. Cloudflare D1 recovery history may retain deleted data for up to 7 days on the Free plan.

Website analytics

Fixora uses free Cloudflare Web Analytics for page and performance measurements. Contact details, message content, and references are never attached to analytics. Provider details: https://developers.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/about/.

Optional advertising

From November 1, 2026, Fixora offers up to two labeled Adsterra placements on content and tool pages: one 728 by 90 desktop or 320 by 50 mobile banner, and one 300 by 250 rectangle. Short support and legal pages keep a single footer placement. Banners are available internationally. The EEA, UK, Switzerland and unknown locations use a saved opt-in before ad-network requests; other locations use automatic delivery unless you opt out or send Global Privacy Control. When ads load, Adsterra and its advertising partners may receive your IP address, browser/device signals and page-origin information, and use cookies or other identifiers for advertising and measurement. Tool content and contact submissions are not supplied to the banner. The banner runs on the separate Fixora hosting origin, fixora-786.pages.dev, in an isolated frame. Its scripts can access storage on that advertising origin, but cannot read the main Fixora workspace. Provider privacy information: https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy-managed/.

Your advertising choice

Turning ads off has no effect on access to tools or guides. Change your choice through Advertising choices in the footer. Withdrawing removes the current banner and prevents future banner loads; it cannot undo information already transmitted or erase third-party cookies. Manage those cookies in your browser and use provider privacy channels to exercise relevant rights. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control do not load the banner.

Keep your source files private.

If you report a problem, share the tool name and a nonsensitive example, not confidential files or secrets.
