From input to output
- Enter a three- or six-digit Hex color.
- Select Convert color.
- Inspect the swatch and HEX, RGB and HSL values.
Settings and result behavior
- Input is hex only, with or without #. Alpha-channel values and RGB/HSL source strings are not accepted.
- HSL values are rounded for display; copying between formats can introduce small rounding differences.

If the result is unexpected
- For invalid input, remove alpha digits, punctuation or CSS wrappers and use hex.
- If a color looks different elsewhere, compare the actual background and display settings rather than relying on the swatch alone.
