Instructions and examples

From input to output

  1. Add one item per line or load a TXT list.
  2. Select Create CSV.
  3. Inspect quoting and download the CSV for import.

Settings and result behavior

  • Nonempty lines become single-column records; no header row is added.
  • Commas and quotes are escaped for CSV. Formula-like cells receive an apostrophe to reduce spreadsheet execution risk.

Supported input and limits

Type or paste text, or use the TXT import control for a UTF-8 text file. PDF and Word documents cannot be imported into this text workspace. Output is comma-separated CSV; empty lines are omitted.

Empty lines are omitted. Cells beginning with spreadsheet formula characters are prefixed with an apostrophe. Up to 1 MB and 20,000 lines per input.

If the result is unexpected

  • If the importing app expects a header, add an appropriate first line deliberately.
  • A whitespace-only line is not an empty string. Clean the list first if you want such lines removed.

Check before using the result

Import a sample as text to preserve identifiers. Check the first row, quoted entries and any formula protection changes.
