What to know about this tool

25 MB and 16 megapixels. Dimensions are browser-decoded; MIME/name/bytes/last-modified are browser file properties, not verified provenance or EXIF parsing.

Animated files are processed as a still image. Re-encoding may change color profiles and metadata.

Instructions and examples

From input to output

  1. Choose a supported image.
  2. Select Inspect image.
  3. Read width, height, aspect ratio and file properties beside the preview.

Settings and result behavior

  • There is no resize or compression in this workspace.
  • Download TXT saves the inspection report, not a new image. Copy details copies that report.

A worked example

Input
A browser-decodable 1600 × 900 PNG.
Settings
No transformation settings.
Expected result
1600 × 900 px; aspect ratio 1.7778; 1.44 megapixels, plus browser-reported file properties.

Supported input and limits

Choose PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or BMP that your browser can decode. Animated sources are processed as a still image. Re-encoding can change metadata and color rendering. Reports include filename, browser MIME, bytes and browser-reported modification time; EXIF fields are not parsed.

25 MB and 16 megapixels. Dimensions are browser-decoded; MIME/name/bytes/last-modified are browser file properties, not verified provenance or EXIF parsing.

If the result is unexpected

  • A decode failure can mean an unsupported or damaged image. Try exporting it as PNG or JPEG in an editor.
  • Different applications can interpret orientation differently. Compare the preview with the source application.

Check before using the result

Use the pixel dimensions to assess upload requirements. MIME, name and modification time are not proof of format provenance, camera location or authenticity.
