Free Static QR Code Generator
Encode a link, text, Wi-Fi or contact details directly in a static QR code and download PNG or SVG.
Choose content and add details. Your QR preview updates automatically.
Static code · direct content · no account or tracking redirect
Enter content
Preview updates automatically. A four-module clear border is retained.
QR preview
Add content to preview your QR code.
A four-module clear border is always included. Test the downloaded code with your intended scanner before printing. Static codes do not expire through Fixora, but a linked website can change. A QR code does not certify that its destination is safe.
Instructions and examples
From input to output
- Choose Content type and enter the corresponding URL, text or details.
- Set foreground, background, export size and error correction. The preview updates automatically.
- Open Review encoded payload, inspect the exact content and download PNG or SVG. Test the downloaded code with the intended scanner.
Settings and result behavior
- Content types also include Wi-Fi, Contact, Email, Phone and SMS. Their details form a scanner-readable payload, not a sent message.
- Higher error correction makes a denser code. Export size may increase to keep at least four pixels per module; a four-module clear border is always kept.
- Secured Wi-Fi codes include the password; anyone with the code can read it. Open-network codes omit passwords.
A worked example
- Input
Website URL: https://example.org/event
- Settings
- Dark foreground on white; 512 px; Medium (M) error correction.
- Expected result
A static QR code encoding that URL directly, without a Fixora redirect.
Supported input and limits
PNG or SVG downloads and a print action. The complete payload, including optional details, is capped at 1,800 UTF-8 bytes. There is no dynamic editing or scan tracking.
Up to 1,800 UTF-8 bytes including optional details. A four-module clear border is retained. No scan tracking, hosted redirects or dynamic editing. Linked websites may change; a QR code does not certify destination safety. Anyone with a Wi-Fi code can read its password.
If the result is unexpected
- For a dense code, shorten the payload and preserve the clear border. Exports pause below 4.5:1 contrast or with inverted colors; Use scannable colors restores a tested dark-on-white pair.
- If the URL is rejected, use a complete http:// or https:// address. A generated code does not verify destination safety.
Check before using the result
Scan at the intended printed size and check the destination or decoded text. Static content cannot be edited after sharing, although a linked website can change.

Questions about this tool
Does a static QR code expire?
Fixora does not impose a hosted redirect or a trial expiry on the encoded payload. A linked website can still change or disappear. You cannot edit an already printed static code; test the exported image and a printed sample.
Practical guides
- Create a Static QR Code and Test It Before Printing
Encode a direct link, Wi-Fi or contact payload, export a QR code and check both the decoded content and a printed test.
