Instructions and examples

From input to output

  1. Choose a self-contained SVG file.
  2. Set Output width and select Create PNG.
  3. Inspect the rasterized preview and download the PNG.

Settings and result behavior

  • Height follows the browser-decoded SVG proportions. Width must be a whole number from 1 to 8,000.
  • Active elements are stripped before decoding; external-resource references, CSS imports and nonlocal URLs are refused.

A worked example

Input
An SVG with a 200 × 100 viewBox and inline shapes.
Settings
Output width: 800.
Expected result
An 800 × 400 PNG, if the browser renders the source proportions as intended.

Supported input and limits

SVG input up to 2 MB and PNG output up to 16 megapixels. Use inline shapes and local fragment references; embedded/external images and fonts may be refused or differ.

If the result is unexpected

  • For an external-resource refusal, prepare a self-contained copy without linked images, fonts or imported CSS.
  • For clipping or unexpected size, inspect width, height and viewBox in the source. Browser SVG support can differ.

Check before using the result

Check shapes, text, transparency and edges at the output size. Rasterization and filtering are not a security certification for the original SVG.
