Cleanup cannot infer meaning, recover missing words or reliably undo PDF hyphenation. Significant whitespace in code, poetry and tables should be preserved. Copy/download the reviewed text, or change the options and run again.

- Paste copied text or load a UTF-8 TXT file.
- Choose a task in Text settings and review the options that appear.
- Select Clean text, compare the result and change counts, then copy or download TXT.
Settings and result behavior
- Joining removes isolated line breaks but keeps paragraph gaps. Trimming and collapsing spaces can alter meaningful layout.
- Other tasks remove duplicates or blanks, sort, reverse, add affixes or remove chosen characters. Duplicate matching is exact; sorting uses UTF-16 order.
- Prefix and suffix apply to every line, including empty lines, and can expand the output.

Supported input and limits
Type or paste text, or use the TXT import control for a UTF-8 text file. PDF and Word documents cannot be imported into this text workspace. Text output is capped at 4 MB.
Cleanup follows your selected rules, not the original document’s meaning. Review poems, tables and hyphenated words. Up to 1 MB and 20,000 lines.
If the result is unexpected
- If a table or poem loses structure, switch off joining and spacing changes, or select only the needed task.
- Hyphenated PDF lines need manual review. The tool cannot infer whether a hyphen is part of the word.
Check before using the result
Read paragraphs and names, check meaningful spaces and confirm nothing was discarded. A long preview is shortened; copy/download contains the complete result.

Can I remove PDF line breaks but keep paragraphs?
Paste selectable text copied from the PDF, then enable Join single line breaks. Blank-line paragraph separators remain. Check tables, poetry and hyphenated words manually; this workspace does not import PDFs or perform OCR.
Should I join lines before removing duplicates?
For one-item-per-line lists, keep line joining off. Choose the deduplication mode and review whitespace rules so that each line remains a separate item.
